Forgiveness

Why is it so hard?
Hard to forgive
Harbored up feelings
Makes a heart stone cold
That robs one of happiness
And steals their joy.

Some would rather die than forgive
Becoming numb to legitimate feelings
Some hearts are waxed over with cold
They relish anger over happiness
Some unknowingly despise joy
Because forgiving to them is hard.

In the belly are balled up feelings
All tied in a knot that’s cold
Preventing moments of happiness
And blocking rays of joy
It can be easy but we make hard
Intent on being mad and not willing to forgive.

In a lonely world filled with cold
Can’t find true happiness
No signs of joy
Makes life really hard
But still mad not ready to forgive
Because of offended feelings.

God promised peace along with Joy
But void of Him obtaining can be hard
If we can only just forgive
those emotions of true feelings
Would melt away the cold
Releasing the flood gate of happiness.

Life can be easy sometimes we make it hard
When we harbor anger and refuse to forgive
It causes a bottleneck of feelings
The heart become cold
A blockage for happiness
Therefore we have no joy.

Joy and happiness can be obtained
by releasing cold hard feeling
through forgiveness.
